Man, oh man! What an awesome place! Wife and I are fairly new to climbing and drove from Virginia Beach as we heard it was worth it. Totally the case.

Friendly staff, huge/spacious, safe, and clean facilities, welcoming guests and affordable day passes. They had all different rope and bouldering options with beginner paths all the way to what looked like (to us mere mortals) the impossible climb. We will be back once a month minimum with the hope of getting stronger, learning to trust each other to belay, and figure out how the bouldering can work for us.

To top it off, they had a fundraiser going for the Norfolk SPCA, which made it all that much more of an awesome experience. They had a tasty food truck which was much needed after we exhausted ourselves using muscles we’ve let get lazy over the years.

Can’t wait to go back!

My family has gone twice and this place and the staff are phenomenal!! Nick helped us the first day and his passion shines through wanting to teach others all about climbing and helping in every way he can. He was so motivational as they were climbing, cheering them on! We loved it so much we went back the following weekend with the rest of my children and they all climbed for a solid 4 hours. Will and Jennifer helped us this time. Will was with us mostly and again, a very patient, attentive young man passionate about teaching how to climb. We will definitely be back! I wished I could get a family membership, but it's too expensive for me personally having 5 kids. The prices are great otherwise. It is affordable for us to do once in awhile. They also have a kids climbing club which also interested us, except the price for multiple children just exceeds my budget. Thank you Send It
Climbing for providing a great experience and for having amazing staff!

This is the largest climbing gym that I have visited. The price for renting shoes and a harness was about $8. There are a ton of routes for both bouldering and belaying. I saw difficulties ranging from 5.6 to 5.10+ and V0 to V7+. The auto belays that they had were super convenient and easy to use. The staff was nice and and supportive. I would highly recommend this place for anyone interested in climbing. I plan to go again when I am back in the area.

This was actually pretty cool. My second time rock climbing with the family. Definitely turned out to be a good workout. Also, this place is great for kids. Kept my 2 busy for about 2 hours. We actually found out about this place because my youngest went on a feild trip with La-petite. Glad we visited and plan on revisiting in the near future!!!!

Clean gym, super-friendly staff. We first visited with our Scout Troop 362 and came back for more fun. Shelby is a patient, creative, and safety-minded instructor. She found many ways to encourage reluctant, new climbers to ensure a positive experience.

Auto-belays were easy to manage and secure. Staff is also available for belaying many routes, and there are plenty of free-climbing options. Difficulty 5.5 - 5.11+ and V0 - V7.

Send It hosted a competition for USA Climbing. The gym was an amazing host, the setting was great. It’s a tremendous amount of effort to put on a big competition, we have been to gym’s 5x their size that could not hold a candle to their quality. Definitely worth a trip if you climb and are in the area.
