Shout out to the technician Jeffrey that came out for a service call today. If it wasn’t for him we would probably all be dead with a carbon monoxide leak… On top of that he was very knowledgeable and had great customer service! Thank you. Greatly appreciated.

If I could do zero stars I would. Try to charge me a $200 set-up fee when I first started with them. Had to share previous payments from a different county. Never have been required to pay a set up fee. JAN. they stop autopayments and tell NO ONE. I have a $300 outstanding balance. They tell me i have to enroll in a payment program for a change THEY MADE. Fast forward, Scheduled to cancel service Sept 30. Turned off auto pay, called in ADVANCE to see if I could pay the final charge at later date because I just paid them $200+ for September and they were charging me another $100. Was charged ANYWAY, put my account in the negative. Was also charged TWICE. Was supposed to get a credit. I no longer live at the last residence. They are still trying to charge me a $30 fee. The worst, absolute WORST energy company. What ever changes they made are not doing a damn for the customer.

There should be a button for negative or zero stars!!!
This corporation is so corrupt it is unbelievable: I was out of town for a few days & came back to a huge hole in my front yard courtesy of these jerks...no notification whatsoever. After 2 weeks of the run around, I was told that I had to raise the meter to ground level. It already was at ground level, they just wanted to replace the lid. My plumber told me they are doing this all around town. My cost to repair what they did: $650!!!! If I don't hire someone to do it, they will do it & charge me much more...
These utilities do whatever they want because they have us handcuffed. No sense of customer service or satisfaction whatsoever!!! They are horrible!

The absolute worst. They know that their services are necessary but have no consideration for their consumers. They have gorilla tactics when it comes to their collections. Like shutting off gas and water in the middle of the winter for one missed payment on a plan that was established because of a giant leak in the water pipes and basically saying "f you, you still gotta pay". They care nothing about the people they serve and basically use extortion to get their money. Get behind on payments? Freeze your face off in a few days when the temperature goes back down.

They charged me over $1600 for a back charge in water usage due to the “meter not reading” for 6 months! My bill was still $200+ per month without being charged water “so they say”. I was on an arrangement when they added this miscellaneous amount to my bill it knocked off my payment plan. I have asked over and over for a solution and NOTHING! They do what they want and put people in very compromising conditions because they can! The city of Indianapolis needs to step in at this point, reading the reviews alit sounds like I’m not alone.

I also wish I could give zero stars. I also was told I needed an updated water meter, my guess is workers are lazy and can't open a lid to actually read numbers. They shut my water off due to new "sewage charge". I paid $1395 last month. Today I received a new bill for over $600. We are all trapped in a monopoly. I've lived in my home for 24 years and don't plan to move. I ask that we all find a way together to make them answer. Try to call them, you'll get someone answering from their home. No real supervisor, no office to walk into for answers. Please help

Wish I could give 0 stars. I moved to Indianapolis in June of 2023, I paid my my bills every month (even paid a huge deposit). In February they came out to change out a faulty water meter, the following month I received a bill for $2,000+! I called them immediately and was told that I hadn't been charged "usage" or sewage
so requested a supervisor call. I was told it would take 24-48hrs for a call back. He called me the following day to inform me that the numbers were wrong and that the meter had been faulty and unreadable since April 2022. He then informed me that he would contact me after he could talk to his "numbers" guy. They didn't even wait a month to estimate it. I got revised bill that was still over $1200 which averaged out to $150 of usage every month for 2 people. My last 2 bills have only been around $100- $115 TOTAL! So there is absolutely no way we used 150 a month in just water. I'm moving away from Indy because I can't even contest it without losing my water.

We have been in our current home for almost 4 years. Suddenly in February we get a bill for over $750, when I called to inquire about the amount I was told it was from a rental house we haven't live in in almost 4 years. Citizens claims we never requested them to turn off the gas in the other home. We were told they would review it and call us back when it was completed. I have made several attempts to contact Citizens with no results. Today I received a bill stating if we don't pay over $600 by March 20th they will discount us. I called and was told it had been reviewed and it was valid. I told I would like to discuss this with a supervisor and told one would call me back in a few minutes
I still have heard from I e. I was also told we would not be disconnected over this 400 Dollars, but again they lied. I guess this is trip to a lawyer and a news station in order to get this resolved.
